I'm probably going to buy a Tippmann A-5 soon, though i dont know wut to buy for it. I'm going to play mostly woods ball. I dont know whether to get an e-grip, response trigger, flatline barrel, etc. Your opinion is greatly apprieciated to me.

This question would better go in the upgrades section.

get the flatline but i wouldnt get an e-grip or the r/t, in woodsball its kinda pointless because when ever you do see someone you wont see them for long so semi auto should do

i gota a-5 with a flatline and was also thinking of getting a e grip....RAMBOBLUE is right in away that in woods u only see the person for a few sec....but i had played with and talked to others what have a egrip and play woods and i get the same 2 answers:

1. INTIMADATION FACTOR....on any setting other then semi auto the presents of ur marker is going to be known and heard.

2. Surpressive fire......even 1 a-5 with a egrip can laydown some serious paint on full auto to allow team member time to move up and surround  remaining players.

those are the 2 answer ive gotten....but u gota find a place that will also u to use full auto....u can get away with this more in private or senario games...Id go for it and get it...youll have fun....i waiting for an undate egrip that has a thumb swtich on it to select the modes

i dont know your style in the woods but get a double trigger and a nice barrel not to mention a rocket cock type thing to keep dirt out

i personally dont like the flatline my friend/teamate is selling his for his 98 cause it does go farther but its inacurate at those farther ranges

Why? The bolt is sealed in an A-5. No need for a RC or anything like it.

REtired from my a-5 no more than a few months ago, only reason was that the a-5 is a gas hog, reason for getting custom pro.

Flatline- Depending on paint and how well you know how to use it, might be a good idea, i would suggest that if you get one, spend some time playing with it, depending on what angle you have it at can make it shoot in different ways. i found on my by turning it sideways (right side) i could make it shoot around trees. Also the extra distence is nice sometimes. ALSO! 98c flatline is completly 110% different than the a-5, locks in better and.., well its just better by a long shot.

Stock- All depends on how you like it, personaly thought it was just in the way.

Remote coil- NO!

Egrip- Who in the hell doesent love to just spray paint. Would have to say get one, just nice to have as well as fun, stock is fine though 2... (get doulbe trigger with egrip, best bet ebay probly...)

RT- PERSONALY, i dont like them at all, stay away...

Comp air system- Read up on it and see what  you think, dont know to much about them....

A-5's are also oil hogs, before screwing on air, add 2-3 drops of oil right where your screw tank on, will help performance alot.

Ac-Dc rules

Custom pro, E2, 48/3000cu Hpa with dye rhino cover. All you will ever need.

Do get a flatline, immediately.

Realise that it will start to become less accurate at the end of it's shot, but that isn't going to happen until it's gone further than you could have even reached with another marker.

You won't require a fancy trigger. I go through 1-2000 balls per day with the stock trigger. Any faster & I'd need to take out a mortgage.

Buy it ... play with it ... then decide what else you'll need to suit your personal, developed taste for the marker.

I came.
I sawed.
I conquered.
