I've decided to upgrade, tech-savvy folks tell me what you think.
I already have an Antec NeoPower PSU, and a gig of ram from my old computer. |

I love the board and the CPU. I have always owned ASUS mobo's and am very happy with them.
There are better cheaper vid cards out there. I find ATI vid cards over priced for what you get. I'd go for the ASUS 6800GT 256mb card. It's faster and cheaper. My 2 cents...... Edited by Killgore |

No need for 512 with the GT boards. GT boards run faster than a regular board. Plus they are damn expensive.

I wouldn't suggest an X850Pro. I would suggest a 6800gt, x800xt, or
x850XT. You have an SLI motherboard so why not geta 6800gt and
over time get another one? I think an old X800XT is also more powerful
than the 12 pipeline x850, not sure though. Otherwise, nice setup.
