I just recently bought the flatline barrel for the A5 and im having some problems. I installed it exactly how the manual told me to and the balls went consistantly left when aiming at my target. My A5 is stock and i use co2 if that helps at all. Im also using bronze xballs for paint. Please tell me what you think is wrong. Thanks

well, i Don't know what to tell you, i don't have a flatline myself, but i have read the M98 manual for the flatline, and it tells you what to do in your situation, so, seeing your problem, i looked at the a5 flatline manual, but gives no info
so, you would probably want to ask for some company tech help

I dont think its the paint because it constantly goes left every shot..like if it was a paint problem, wouldn't the paint spray both left and right?? I could be wrong but i dont know.

Take the shroud off, and loosen the set screw that holds the barrel in
place in the adapter. By twisting the barrel in the adapter you can
dial it in. Shouldnt be necessary on an A5 flatline, but i guess bad
stuff happens.

there have been some problems with a few flatlines that have been made
recently. i heard that some/all flatlines are made outside of tippmann
now? can anyone confirm this?
but i do know for fact that some of them have been put togeter poorly. meaning the barrel is not in the adapter poprerly and needs to be adjusted more then making sure the screws inline with the front site. |

My flatline works fine but it could be your velocity isn't your flatlines favorite.

ok guys. I fixed it! The problem wasn't the balls or the velocity it was the alignment. I took apart the barrel and the alignment marks were a little off. I just had to take out the adaptor set screw and align the barrel. It was hard to turn the barrel to align it, but if you twist hard enough it will budge. thnx for the input. |
