Having owned both... I preferred the Lapco.

I have Lapco barrels for all of my semis...

F4/ProLite threaded for my A5, Carbines, ProCarbine, ProLites and F4 (4 barrels).
Cocker threaded for my Cocker and Intimidator.
98 and Automag threaded as well.

Mostly the 11.5" length. Sold my one 14". Have a 7.5" for the F4/ProLite.

Also have a couple Autospirits for use with smaller bore paint.

Lapcos see the most use on all of my guns... more so than any other barrel type. Even though I have the Freak system in Cocker and Mag threads... Lapcos see the most use.

Not to say that CP is a lesser barrel. CP makes good stuff as well. But I wasn't as impressed by it... and eventually sold mine.

Either way, you end up with a good .689 barrel.

Lapco Bigshots are really great barrels. :)

I also have had alot of luck with J&J ceramics, and PMI perfect bore barrels.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator.
