Just unscrew the 6 bolts that hold the reciever halves together. If you don't know where they are, you can look in your manual. Take off the little rubber piece on the cocking knob, it is black. You can also take the two screws out the hold the ASA onto the gun. I suggest you keep your hopper elbow on the gun when doing this so the front sight doesn't spring out. Now gently lift the left reciever half straight up and off. You may have to wiggle it around a bit and pull some, but it should come off easily. The trigger gaurd is very easy to remove and so is the trigger. Refer to your user's manual for the trigger pins placement when you put it back together. I will probably have some pics up later if you need them. |

This is an ASA:
It is where you screw your air source into, whether it be co2 or HPA. Edited by rossy11223 |

No no. These screws stay in. These screws are loctited in and if they are not they will cause your gun to cycle erratically. (will explain if you would like). check the VAS (velocity adjustment screw). It is suggested in the manual that this screw be screwed in all the way. Also the screws holding in the ASA must be loosened if not removed. If these are tight, the receiver halves will not separate. Also the barrel must be removed from the gun. If you do all of this, and it still doesn't come apart, post back and I will rack my brain a bit more. |

ha ha I just read this. Peachey if you can find the forum you can find the manual. The parts breakdown figure should show you all you need to know. Just make sure you start with a big clean workspace so you don't loose anything and make sure there are no extra parts after you put it back together. We have all sent a spring flying across the room at one time or another.

for future reference NEVER take your gun apart while it is cocked. it will explode and springs and everything will fly out of the gun causing much anger and/or distress.
