    Posted: 15 August 2005 at 10:55pm

Tippmann sent me my hoses and fittings.  I was kinda scared when I saw an invoice, but it showed nothing but 0's, so I'm relieved.

I put on the new hoses and fittings, and the first thing I noticed was how much larger they are.

As I went out to tune/test it, I noticed a difference, but it wasn't exactly what I expected.  I guess I already all of the other Super R/T mods done already, though.

Anyway, the biggest thing that showed how fast it was shooting was the frost over the hoses/fittings and how much condensation was on the gun.  I didn't get this with the R/T stock.

This was a great, mod that required no money and little work.  I feel kinda bad about lieing to Tippmann, but I think I'll have some fun this weekend with my updated toy.

Wow! You were right, those hoses are huge compared to the other ones. I have never seen the LP fittings. I made your pic a little bigger in case people wanted a bigger one. Hope you don't mind.

I have the super RT. Its great.

Only use CO2, its much better than running it on HPA.
I have to use HPA on mine, I have no good CO2 tanks.

CO2 is very unstable, i dont understand why it would be better; considering falloff?

Thats why its better. Theres always more pressure then the valve needs from the CO2, so theres more excess air per shot going to the RT, thus making it more reactive.

i run HPA with my response and dont notice a difference between the co2 and the HPA in the response. in shootin and chrono HPA is much better. its quieter, doesnt fog in cold weather anddoesnt spike.
