I own a 98C with only about $80 put into it, should I keep investing in my Tippy, or keep saving for a TAC-ONE *angel music*? I have $300 saved up right now, and the TAC-ONE looks great, but I love the accuracy of my 98C. (keep in mind, I'm 13, and this is a lot of money for me...I'm looking for advice not some "you stupid n00b, comment)

well i love my a5 for speedball or woodsball.  It has a lot of $ put into it and i will keep putting more in because i like the feeling about going to play and not haveing to worry about if my gun is going to break.  For u it depends on how much u play and what u play(speed or woods).  If i were u i would get a barrel but it sounds like u already have one.  a moto hopper and an ebolt from ebay.  weather u play woods or speed u can always depend on a tippmann working.  Keep in mine that i am 13 also and with my gun i can compete with uped syders, ion, imps, and even a dm4.  its also more on the lines of whos shooting the gun,  not the gun that u are shooting.

Any AGD marker is amazing. I owned a 68 classic. Still my favortie gun I have ever owned. It was impossible to screw up, always worked. Was great for everything.

Go for it. You wont be dissapointed with the Tac-one. I assume your into to woodsball for going with the Tac-one. It will own both in the woods and on the speedball course.

BUT, theres one thing you must know. You MUST use HPA on a Tac-one. Since it was the X-valve, the re-charge rate of the valve will suck liquid CO2 into the valve and blow out every O-ring.

If you dont have HPA yet, buy that first. Then, get the Tac-one.

I would use your $300 to put more upgrades on your tippy I mean $300 worth of upgrades on a tippy would be awsome.

How does this sound, for a setup?

Tac-One $450-$480
QLoader $80-$90
Crossfire Screw-In Preset 3000 psi - 47ci $80
Remote Line $15

Any suggestions?

The qloader, from what I've seen, is like a warpfeed, except from a pod so I think it'll work, and about the invision, I have a Green Profiler :D

Trust me, I've put close to $400 into my A-5 and there is still one big problem that cannot be fixed about it...  It's still an A-5.

Looking back, I should have bought a different gun along time ago.

As for your situation, I definatly support the Tac-One.  Mags are sweet, and even more reliable than tippmanns.

Yep you definitely need to up the Tippy.  The tac one is all about looks and that.  The Tippy with 380$ in ups could be an awesome speedball element and would rock for woodsball.  Difinitely the tippy: upgradeability, accuracy, reliability and ability for speed all in a cheap package.
My guns name is Mr. Max in remembrance of my dog that got hit by a car: Tippmann A-5
Ricochet R-5
JCS double Trigger
Tippmann E-Grip
Flatline Barrel

Do you have the need for speed?

My gun is no speedball gun, if I had a pic, I'd show you, my barrel is 18 in long, no matter how much I put into it, it's still going to be around 2 feet long and still fugly. I understand what you mean about upping the 98c, but there is only so much you can do to a gun, and I've done almost all I want to my 98c, I will keep upgrading it, but I just want to play with something different, I do play speed ball, but I'm tired of playing back because I can't move.

Except for maybe the upgradeability, that is pretty much a 'Mag. Reliable, accurate (depending on paint/barrel match), reliable, fast, and cheap (comparatively). And it is smaller/lighter. I would take a Tac-One over almost any Tippy.

Okay, I've changed my mind, but I'm not upgrading my 98c, I think I'm going to buy an AGD Pro Classic, and then continually upgrade it. Otherwise, I would buy the TAC-ONE and not up it...For a very...very...long time.

Question: What kind of barrel threads does the Pro Classic have?
