This isnt my first post, but it is on this account.  I forgot my old login in name. Havent been around in a while since paintball kinda died down with my group of friends, but luckily my step brother picked up the sport and we are going quite often now.  He has a electric piranha that shoots pretty well.  I was surprised at how well it shot.  I have a mdoel 98 with a flatline, stock, and expansion chamber.  As we all know there isnt a lot of options for the regular model 98.  After seeing his gun shoot I realized I needed some extra firepower.  A friend on mine is willing to buy my gun for 230$$.  I plan on buying a A-5 and get the same set up(flatline, expansion chamber, and instead of a stock I will get the repsonse trigger).  I need to know what length of steel braided hose should I get for x-core 8 stage expansion to install it on the A-5?  Also does the flatine and r/t go together pretty good?

A flatline will go very well with a response trigger.

I don't know the exact lenght of hose you will need, but I can tell you that the x-core will require a 90 degree hose fitting at the end, unless you want your hose to be kinked and look funny. I would recommend getting macroline so you can make sure you get the right lenght, but if you want steel braided hose, you may just have to wait until you have the parts before you can measure it out. You will probably also have to get the A-5 vertical adapter to put the expansion chamber on, so keep that in mind too.

I totally forgot about the vertical adapter.  I heard though that the expansion chamber will screw right in where the hose would go it would just be inconvenient due to the foregrip already there. Yeah I also read about the 90 degree elbow hopefully I can pick them up at the paintball shop. I just dont know if I want to spend that kind of money on the vertical adapter, that thing is expensive, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

^^No. You don't have to buy the VA. You can just screw the X-chamber directly into the Tombstone adapter. The only point of the VA is to move the X-chamber to the place where the foregrip is, so you don't have both on there. And check here, it might have your setup listed... http://www.countypaintball.com/hosechart/ .
