I thought about buying a cyclone feed for my 98 custom, do I have to drill a hole in my gun to install? If so why?

The cyclone feed is a great upgrade. I suggest getting it. If you look on the right reviever half of your gun, you will see a small ring. To install the cyclone, you have to put in a new powertube and punch the little hole out so the excess air can get to the cyclone feed.

No, it isn't exactly drilling. You use something to punch out a small hole in the side of your gun. It is very easy. |

there is already a hole in the side of your marker, if you look there is a little piece of plastic hanging out on the nonmarked side and you nock that piece off and insert the hose in there

I think the Cyclone is an awesome idea. Kudos to Tippmann for finally making it for the 98 Custom.
