Ok, i play a lot of woodsball. I use a Tippmann Pro/Carbine that i'm slowly working on moding here and there. Recently i have decided to pick up a pistol to add just one more lvl to my game play. But, i can't decide if the 32 degrees Delta 68 or the Zeus G2 is better. I've heard a lot of good reviews for the Delta 68, and i know that the orginal Zeus is legendary to most... so which is the better buy that i should get? Thanks all

Pistols have almost no use as some type of a back up gun, if you use them as a primary gun on a field, they are perfectly acceptable although limited in their capabilities. In regards to scenario play, the same holds true, however they are good for medics depending on the scenario, and they are good for fitting in to some type of an appearance.
And before you question my experience, I have been playing for over 5 years now, and have more than enough experience that tells me that any pistol you would be interested in buying would be a waste of money. The only pistol I have ever seen that I'd accually like to own was a PGP turned into a semi auto from Punishers Customs, the gun was about the size of my fully extended hand, and then he had a small 4 oz CO2 tank and hopper on top, and he REALLY knew how to use that thing very well. |

i never said that if you didn't like pistols ur not experienced, i'm just saying that most speed, tourny (i dont think tourny even allows u the option of carrying a 2nd marker, but i could be wrong), and hyperball players have generally no need for one. if you dont like one, cool. But i know plenty of people who only use a pistol/duel wield and love it more than a normal marker. so i cant really go along with anyone sayin their worthless. thats all
**And, not to be mean, but i'd like to hear responses from people who use one of the two and enjoy that one... Not Players who personally hate pistols... yes, i have tried playin with them, i personally enjoy the game play with one, so i dont really need any warnings in not wastin my money b/c i *think* it would be cool, thanks Thanks anarchy for the info on the delta Edited by TerranDemon |

I have no problems with pistols, like I said, they are useless as a backup gun to carry to make some kind of "last stand" when your hopper runs out on your gun and someone is running up on you, if you use simply one at a time or dual wield, you will be faced with limitations like I said. With a pistol you are going to have less efficiency particularly with a semi automatic pistol, and you are also going to have less accuracy due to every pistol I have ever personally seen does not come anywhere near the optimal length for a barrel before porting, on top of human accuracy if you shoot with one hand, and especially going with two at once.
The point I am trying to make is that there is a limited range of things that a pistol can do, where as a standard gun can do all the same thing and many more things, they are much more versatile in many aspects, and it is something that should be considered before even looking at a pistol. |

There is a new pistol out that holds 12 gram CO2 cartridges and 8 paintballs in a clip. It looks pretty cool, but I think it's about $250 new. Can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure someone on here might know.

I prefer the Ariakon Overlord as a sidearm. it works great in
woodsball play and i use it often when i'm caught trying to reload my
A-5. it buys me enough time to have the others shooting at me to
stop their pursuit on my position long enough to get reloaded and fire
on them.

I just purchased the Ariakon ACP. I got it for 150. It cam with two additional magazines and a holster. You can buy an Ariakon Overlord for a little over 100. It come with just one Magazine. The Mags are about 30 each and the holster is another 30. Save 40 bucks and get the ACP the guns are very similar.

brand new. it was a great deal i couldn't pass up. i did
look at the ACP's but i wasn't impressed with it too much...then again
it must've been my preference not to like it. lol

I recently bought a P-01 myself, although I have an M3 on mine, and not the M6 pictured.
Great piece. Highly recommend it. |
