Topic: DRASTIC 98C Body WorkPosted: 11 November 2005 at 8:44pm |

This is my first real gun & i still have it now. I've done alot of a body work with various tools including a file, grinder, dremel, alot of sandpaper, and a hack-saw. I've taken off the rear sight including the bolt over the body because in my opinion was useless. I took the rail off in the middle because if you take off the whole thing the rod will fall out. I've cut out the metal guarding the vertical adapter because this was also useless and the adapter is pretty tough. I've also done popular milling like the PUSH SAFE lettering, the TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM lettering, and the foregrip grooves. The feedneck has been ported to stop blowback or something. The internals are polished & the frame has a new paint job. I have done the "Pen spring" mod which works very well. It has a bike grip, Dead on Pro double trigger, vertical adapter, and a SP Progressive for aftermarket parts. You can find the pictures at:

Pretty good, not very drastic. Got the generic milling/mods. Everybodys afraid to use some bondo to really change the body! Waitll I do mine...
Great work though! |

custom work 9/10 would be 10 but every body does the same mill jobs(but u did do a crazy good job) paint (color 0/10, looks like the color of the hippies shack down the road) actual paint JOB is good though, looks really smooth a shiny. 7/10 overall because color sucks but work is done well paint it diff. color and it will be a mother Edited by shadow ace |
