...that tippmann was either coming out or doing some R & D on a
pistol model. has anyone else heard this rumor yet? i heard
it on the woodsball field over the weekend and it got me curious.

Never heard that one, and you will probably have to wait a few more years for a new product of any kind. The C-3 just came out, so I anticipate a new product release in about 2008 or 2009. Seriously. |

I realize you said R&D, and they might be doing that. But it doesn't matter; the gun wont come out for years even if it is being worked on right now.

I think Tippmann has made about 30 or more guns and only released certain ones like the ones they like best and stand out more than normal blowbacks or whatever. I would like to work at tippmann R and D and see what they actually do.
