What is the best barrel for my 98 custom? I here the flatline is the best for woodsplay which is what do. However, I don't like how particular it is with paint and would like to avoid that price if necessary without sacrificing too much quality. Help!!!

If you're not willing to spend the money for the flatline, look into a
J&J Ceramic or a Lapco Bigshot. Both work well with all sorts of
paint and are very accurate.
