I'm hoping to get a new digital camera for christmas this year; the one
I have now is terrible:
![]() It doesn't have flash, it doesn't focus automatically(if your hands shake the pic will suck), and it doesn't have a screen. Now, the problem. I know nothing about digital cameras. For me, you turn it on, push the button, and that's where my knowledge ends. I was looking around and came up with this, is it any good? Keep in mind, I'd like to keep the price under $275, otherwise my parents may not buy it. I'm not some sort of hardcore photographer, but I like to take pictures of various different kinds of scenery, as well as other things that present a good picture. Thanks in advance for any help. |

It wouldn't be much of a loss, I bought it for $60.

I just bought that exact camera. Got if off newegg.com.
![]() See! Here's a thread that mentions it several times. I still haven't had a chance to do a lot of pic-taking, but I like what I see so far. Shots in direct sunlight turn out awesome. The flash works nicely, and the pictures are pretty crisp as long as you aren't shooting anything too dark. At low light levels, the pics get noisy, and if you don't want to use the flash then you wind up with shutter speeds of like 1/8 of a second, which turns out a bit blurry with my shaky hands. The manual adjustments are great though, like WhiteBalance, shutter speed, etc. I'd highly recommend it overall. |
