1. Does anybody know if there's gonna be a semi auto C-3?

2. Does anybody agree that if you were to slap on a mil-sim MP-5 mag to where the air hose comes out, that it would be damn near identical to a real MP-5?

3. One more thing: Should the semi-auto C-3 (if it were to go on the market) have the A-5 feed system instead of the cumbersome vertical one-ball feed of the 98? (I just want to be able to see down the top of the gun, not the sides) The logical answer to me is yes, but outside opinions are openly welcomed, and I'd love to hear anyone's advice/opinions.

No, no it definitely would NOT be in any perceivable way identical to a real MP5. If you want a good MP5 style marker pick up a SIM-5 or a MilTech 75.

Propane semi auto will have a lot of problems to overcome, notably heat dissipation. Tippmann cannot risk a lawsuit because some kid burns himself on his propane semi auto. It'll be quite a while before we see semi auto C3, if ever.

Regarding the feed, there are advantages to both. If you're looking for pure mind-blowing speed you want vertical feed, but anyone who needs that kind of BPS has issues. The 15bps Clyclone is more than adequate for any practical play.

Hmmm... not quite sure the Cyclone feed system would work, given how the Propane gun operates.

they will probley come out with one eventually, probley about a year because like berhard said heat dissapation, and they can't afford a lawsuit.
98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.

Well, there is exhaust.  That might be redirected.  It would require some retiming of the Cyclone mechanism, but...

Clearly not automatic to stick a Cyclone on there, though.

Well i was thinking more on the lines of  when you reload the gun it pushes the feeder rod and in turn pushes the sprocket to push the ball into the chamber and then the gun is fired.

ok heat thats the main issue lets seee high rate of cumbustion HIGH HEAT. just like an engine and turbo setup. faster the engine spins hotter exaust faster spooled turbo. you would have to have a liquid cooled system, radiator, fans and the A-5 looks more like the MP5K no way does the C-3. The cyclone as well would have to be heat resistant so it wouldnt MELT. Now if you could make a heat sink that was 100% efficient in still air even with moving air youd make BILLIONS. Heat. Semi BAD IDEA. Its like the coffe incedent at MC D(umba$$es) I bought hot coffe and spilled it in my lap and sued because I burned myself WITH HOT COFFE. Some one would do it. If you really want a semi propane powered gun I would have to suggest MINI GUN. That was why it was built along with high rate of fire. Dissapation of heat will be greater with multiple rotating barrels. And by law a gatling gun is a single shot rifle believe it or not. Theres my rant.

Red lion, you don't pump a semi auto gun.
I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing this, but desert eagle, search first! This has been asked like a million times!

lol roost i like your reference

ya, a semi-auto c3 believe it or not has actually beem considered by tippmann. i was looking at some faqs in the c3 manual and they are actually considering it. heat dissipation as said before would be the only problem but hey, the U.S. army uses m249 machine guns that probably fire faster then most people on semi-auto do, and they don't (always) burn themselves. so its possible i guess, just really hard and not worth it.

theyre also used by trained soldiers insured by the government, if someone gets burnt on one of these guns, tippmann could easily get sued
