Halo B for Ion

Alright, so ive been looking around the net, and have found some pretty sweet Ion packages.  One comes with the gun, a halo b hopper, and a Java 48ci 3000psi compressed air tank for $360.  Ive heard that the halo b doesnt work well with the Ion's feedneck and that its a bad match.  Just wondering what you think of it and if youve had any experience with the hopper and gun.  I play both woods and speed so if you think im making the wrong choice by choosing the ion, what would you reccommend?

get a clamping feed neck, and are u sure that the halob, ion, and tank are 360 and not like 460 or something

or is it used?

cause the ion and halo together cost more that 360

If you could get that deal, then go for it. Just get a new fedneck with the cash you would be saving.

you will also need new detents since halos kill the stocks, i use and egg and it works very well

ye deff get a clamping feedneck my friend bought a halo b for his ion and he broke the feedneck trying to get it out

K thanks guys, and ya im sure i can get that good of a deal on it.  If your interested, i found it on pntball.com.  Im kinda a newb, but what the heck is a detent, and with the package im getting, is the tank nitro, because on the description it says compressed air.

In the paintball world, Nitro is the same thing as Comprssed Air, and HPA. And a Detent is basicly the same thing as a ball stop, like on a Tippmann, although they're usually set up different than in Tippmanns.

I've had 2 friends with Ions who got their Halos stuck in the stock necks. They tried to pull 'em out and the whole neck came off. Go with a clamping neck (CCM and the SP q-Lock are both very nice) and you'll be fine
