hey i got a expansion chamber for my custom pro w/ RT, and the vertical adaptor does not seem to wanna screw into the tube, it screws in, but it goes crooked and then it won't fit right into the alotted space. would a new power tube fix my problem, or what should i do. send links if u have a product suggestion, thank you.

You probably either stripped the powertube, or cross threaded it.

ya its sounds like you might have cross threaded. ya cuz those threads are just aluminum, so they are nice and soft. look at the threads and see if they look like threads do. if they are, you are going to have to replace the valve. costs about $20. it did for me atleast. cuz i stipped out the screw holes, that hold it in place.

no its not that they are stripped, but its that when i screw it in the adaptor isn't in the right place, like it doesn't fit in the right place once i screw it in, it is a little crooked.

I would think that you have not received a satisfactory answer yet because no one could really understand the question. Do you mean that the vertical adapter will not screw into the valve correctly? Go look at the manual here on the Tippmann site and learn the name of the parts about which you have a question. |
