I bought a custom pro because it was an awsome gun for killer price.. but now im really into paintball and i want something better...
How much better is the a-5? is it more accurate? or is it just easier maintenance... am i better off just upgrading the custom pro i already have, or does the a-5 have more potential |

oh buddy, my a-5 makes me horney when i pump out balls out of that gun with the e-grip...... 98C are rental guns and are ok, but the A-5 is a BEAST, god i love it, u really should invest in it, plus it has the cyclone feed, ... this gun really gives a woodballer a gud chance to say "HEY! ARE THOSE MY BALLZ...... ON UR FACE!!!

I say an upgraded Pro is better. The Tippmann Effect uses PRo E's so an egrip or a r/t is a good up. I got a Pro and have a new barrel and an electric hopper. Im gonna get an egrip and im thinkin about a warp feed.

Well, since you already have a custom pro I'd just upgrade it. If you think you are really going to get into the high end stuff later, then I'd hold off getting a new marker and save up for something really good. In the mean-time just put a few small upgrades on the custom pro.

Just hang on to the Custom and upgrade it for the time being. Then maybe, a few years down the road, invest in a nice electro or something of that nature. |

A-5's are good guns but if you have a custom pro stick with that. I suggest you buy the new VL evulution 2 loader and buy a flatline barrel. Then you would have a smaller A-5.

The A5 is basically a 98 with a cyclone. None of the other changes
really affect performance. I'd stick with the Custom Pro, get an E Grip
and a fast hopper (you can even get a cyclone if you really want
to).

KlauseFluoride is right. I have both and like the A-5 better because it is more refined but it is not different enough to warant buying it if you have a perfectly good 98

keep the custom pro. i have both as well, the a-5 is heavier and more bulky.
get yourself an egip for your c-pro, and a WAS board. then get a fast hopper like halo. the worst thing about the a-5 is its limited by the cyclone unless you want a q-loader or want to spend some money and get it centerfed. |
