I just got my BT-16 M98  Barrel kit and played a few games with it, and then the plastic part over the barrel got loose and came off and so did everything else on the barrel. Is there any way to fix this, or is this barrel garbage.

If your talking about the handguard that's attached to the barrel, it's probably held in place with an allen screw.  All you should need to do is realign all the parts and tighten the screw with an allen wrench.

Ahhhhh, the infamous POS BT16 barrel Kit, its really a simple fix....between the Sling Swivel and the Front Sight, there is a very small Allen Head Screw, get the appropriate size hex wrench but, before you tighten the screw, realign all the Handguard parts together and then tighten the small screw....and like I stated in another thread, dump that POS of a Handguard and get a Rap4.com Phantom Handguard, its solidly built because, its made out of Aluminum and also comes wit Weaver/Picatinny Rails.
Do not steal....the government hates competition!
