I cant decide if i should get a new barrel or keep my 3 yr old night stick..with the night stick i can make about a 20 in pattern from 70 ft. and there is no way in hell that this barrel could shoot through a break....im using this barrel for speedball, the night sticks a 16 in, but if i get a new one it gunna be 14 in EDIT: Please explain your choice Edited by jrod1321 - 27 January 2006 at 2:20pm |

Since you sound displeased with your barrel, get a Bigshot. |

I love my JJ Ceramic. They shoot very nicely and are cheap.

As for the Nite Stik, the quality of them is kinda all over the place. I've seen some that perform as well as the JnJ, some that break every other ball. I'm going to say go with a LAPCO barrel. This isn't just because Colin thompson posts here occasionally and the forum has a hard on for his products, simply, he makes very good barrels. the inside of the bigshot is like a mirror, my JnJ has obvious machine marks, but is slightly better polished where it counts. Now, if you only want one good barrel, get the bigshot, it will shoot just about anything well, and good paint extreamly well. However, I'd say since it fits the same role as the nite stick, just better, you might want something different. I'd suggest a LAPCO snap shot. Either get the kit, or buy one with a back that's closest to the paint you usually shoot. .689" is pretty good all around and will give you minimum problems with all paint, but if you shoot smaller paint, get one with a different back. With that barrel you can buy different backs to match your paint and get the best accuracy, and not spend too much to start. |

The JJ and the Bigshot are both great barrels. You can't go way either way.

If you play speedball, get the 8'' bigshot.

Use whatever bore size fits you.
Autospirit is small bore, bigshot is medium. I'd suggest the bigshot unless you play major tournaments. Edited by You Wont See Me - 28 January 2006 at 7:47pm |

yeah i was just wonderin because i was shooting evils and marbs mixed together and the night stick was alot more accurate than the autospirit (my dads barrel)...also the auto spirit is sooooo loud, it has no porting until the last 2 inches of the barrel, if the accuracy b/w the auto and the bigshot are the same, then i dont know what im gunna do
