My New Tippmann 98

   Just bought this gun a couple of weeks ago for $40. The guy I bought it from left it out in the rain for a couple of days then threw it in his closet for a little longer then a year without touching it. It looked bad and he didn't even bother testing it.
    Since then I've stripped off the paint, put a dropforward that was given to me on it, and a CP barrel that I traded a couple of X-box games for. I've been really lucky so far. Here's the pics;








Plan on milling it and maybe painting it later. Any suggestions on color?

looks nice..Maybe you could try a candy apple red for the color..

fillin the gills and make it look like a 98c...lol...but anyways looks good
for being out in the rain for any amount of time...good buy for the
money.

   Thanks for all the replies. After thinking about it more I think I'll just leave the color as is. I'm going to start doing some milling soon. I know I'm going to take the letters off for sure, you guys think I should mill anything else off?

It's a 'Evil' asa adapter. You could also try going to your local paintball store (if you have any) and see what you can get on it. As for the expansion chamber it's actually a Tippmann Regulator, the older style I think.

nice marker and good deal.  With a little more TLC that marker would look much better, IMO paint it black to match the barrel, X-chamber, and cover the red hose, then it would look smooth.  But what ever your decision is, keep us posted so we can give you an honest opinion.
