There are a couple of options. One is a small felt wheel about 1" in diameter and 3/16" thick that mounts on a shank with a center screw to hold it on. The other is a bullet shaped "bob" that fits on a shank that has a screw tip. The flat end on the bob is placed against the screw end and the screw threads are twisted in to take a "bite" and hold the bob onto the shank.

Either is smeared with the red jewelers rouge polishing compound that may come with the accessory kit. If these tools and rouge are not there they may be bought individually at stores that carry Dremel Tools...Home Depot is one.

The areas to be polished should have been smoothed with sand paper or steel wool before you move on to the high polish process with the Dremel. The high polish takes time and the polish gets better as the felt becomes impregnated with the rouge. It is possible to produce a near mirror finish. It can be taken to even higher polish with some other aluminum polishes you can find in automotive stores.

I have a better tool.  Go to Wal-mart and get the dremel attachment that goes on the grinding wheel shank.  It is a very fine wire wheel with a purple polish on the wire.  I used it on mine and it did a much better job than the standard polishing felt. Sorry I don't have a pic.  I hope you know what I am talking about.

600 wet/dry sand paper, then "AAA" steel wool then "0" then "000" then the polishing attachment for the dremel w/ some polishing compound, thats what i did to my A-5 took me about a half hour. then i burshed my teeth using half of my a-5 reciever, as a mirror.

personally i would stay away from using power tool on the inside of it (one slip and you get an imperfection) just do it by hand and finish it with a polisher.
