They're both the same reg and they're both terrible. The first a5 is ok. I hate those far forward mags, but it's ok. The second is pretty bland.

If it were set to 310 on a non lp A5, it wouldn't shoot. The stock Tippmann CVX valve needs at least 700-800psi to operate correctly.

how well does the A5 run on 800 psi? Im always worried about running mine on comp air with the egrip(WAS board) n cyclone (QEV) shooting at 22 bps if it will not keep up.

it runs well at 800-850PSI. It is meant to run at those PSI, but you can run it lower with an LP kit. Edited by mjicmike - 14 February 2006 at 3:35pm |

It shoots really fast on turbo mode, but it does chop sometimes. The only paint that never broke on me was from skirmish in pa. When i play at other fields in ny they use cheap paint and the cyclone blends them. Single shot is the best bet when used with high psi. The ball spits out the barrel really fast and dead on with my opsgear barrel.
As far as the m4 look. I'm still getting a m4 front site and removing the stock a5 site. Also getting a grenade launcher for my scenario games. I photoshoped the clip back tell me what you think. ![]() Edited by BLITZNY - 15 February 2006 at 9:44pm |
