Alright so I got bored yesterday.  I'm to broke to go out and buy a new pair of white Empire E-Vents right now even with the sponsor discounts.  So I took a Proto EL mask I got for free at a tourney once and modified it.  A can of spray paint, dremel tool, and utility knife and about 3 hours of my time and this is what I got:



The next step will be to paint the actual mask.  I can't really decide what but it will probably become black.  I also plan on picking up a new lense for it, maybe smoke or mirrored.

UPDATE:

Alright, so after figuring out that my Proflex was pretty much useless, I decided to modify the Proto some more.  I have always loved soft ears, so after about another hour of guessing, cutting, running to the hardware store, I came up with this.  Tell me what you think:

they look best

Ya dont want an E-Vent, they are falling apart in the box. I loved the looks of them and wanted one until I heard they were falling apart at world cup. Then I finally saw one at the shop, pulled it out of the box and saw it comming apart on the inside at the chin.

Paint the "grills" white, and leave the rest black (leave the frame white).

Justice: I have a team memeber who owns a pair of E-Vents, the quality of them are great.  I have never seen a better mask in my opinion.  That is why I'm picking up a pair.

Nvm then. I play at a field callled SCP as well and was just wondering if it was the same one I go to.

Thanks guys.  I'm going to be picking up a mirrored lense for it as soon as I get some cash.  I have also thought about it and I'm not sure if I'm going to paint the mask black.  It would look awesome but I'm afraid of it cracking and looking like crap.
