I'm a begginner and i'm getting a new custom pro in camo. With that i need to buy a helment and 2 C02 tanks. I dont want to spend too much on the helment, i just want one that fits nice and has good protection that can be bought for like 30-50 Bucks or something. Also what tanks do you suggest, i dont want no high performance tanks just the plain ones work good which are like 20 bucks. So would you recomend a 12, 14, or 20 once tank. I just dont want to get one too big thats in the way, or too small that has to be filled a lot. Is there any other protection that you would recomend, i was thinking for something around the neck unless I get a helment that protects my neck too, thanks everyone

Masks. They're called masks. For 30 bucks you can get the VForce Vantage Pro. Make sure it's not the Field version. Nice masks and similar to the Profiler, which is top of the line. All C02 tanks are pretty much the same. Get a 20 oz. for 20 bucks and you will be happy. Brand does not matter. Edited by hybrid-sniper - 05 May 2006 at 8:17pm |

Call it a mask, that's more common. Try VForce masks (Shield and Morph are in your price range).

If you can afford, get air. It is preferred to the CO2, just more pricey.

Ya, the Flex-8 full is the only full head ive ever seen. they are pretty cool, but i can imagine they fog up easier than normal masks. |

You'll soon find that you'll hate the $20 masks. You'll get all fogged up during games and won't be able to see anything.
If your going to go cheap, at least buy a V-force and get ani-fog lens. |

if yourre ordering off the net....get a relatively cheap mask...40-50$...maybe an E-Vent...or a low grade VForce....then what you want to do is buy some anti-fog spray...5$
about the tanks...if youre lookin to play paintball for awhile..buck up and get a Nitrogen/compressed air tank. you get a lot more bang for your buck |

If you buy a V-force, you dont need anti-fog spray.

Trust me get the Flex 8 Full Head protection w/ the thermal lens. It has yet to fog on me and I purposely tried breathing real hard while wearing it. It is so comfortable that I sometimes don't even realize its on. If you're willing to spend $50 on a mask, splurge that extra $10 and get the Flex 8. Depending on wear you live, Action village doesn't charge tax so, you'll only be spending $5 more (depending on where you live) than if had purchased a $50 mask at the store. In addition, if you buy a few extra items (a CO2 tank off Action village) it should bring you to the $80 needed for free shipping.

But he is Canadian therefore we don't get free shippping on any website no matter how much we spend. Unless there is one website that you know of that will ship for free to Canada that I haven't already tried yet. But free shipping to Canada has never happened for me. Ever! |

I think the full head things look dumb. My little brothers friend has one and his mom doesnt let him play unless he wears a full head protecting mask

For your price range, I recommend the VForce armor and a 20 oz. C02 tank.
