Here is my project that I have been working on for quite some time now. I am pretty proud of it now and have finally decided to post it. Here is the barrel:
Here is the receiver:
Here it is compared to an AR-15:
I have a little bit of work left but mostly it is done. Most of the work is painting, but I have to attach a delta ring too. It has polished internals, an rt, custom products 14 inch barrel, a six position stock, a modified magazine from opsgear, BT barrel parts (I had a BT barrel before hand and I didn't like the performance of it so I bought this barrel awhile ago and am quite pleased with it), Halo B hopper, BT sight rail, remote, and an inline stabilizer. As I said before I am happy with the results of this project and I hope that everyone else likes it too. |

Is there anything from the real AR-15 on it?

Yeah, I forgot to put that in there but I do plan on taking off the Tippmann at least. I'll probably just take off the 98 custom too though.

The handguards are M4 handguards. I had to use them because they are thicker and the normal ones wouldn't fit over the receiver (and the M4 ones just look way cooler) but other than that no.

One of the best milsim 98 Customs but only because you cared enough to get the dimensions right. Most people just slap a barrel kit on and call it an M4 but you are the first one to truly earn that title for your 98.

Very nice Milsim 98, alot of people making a "milsim" 98 just throw a m4 shrowd on the barral and a ugly looking mag right on top of the front grip, its nice to actually see someone put actual work into it by hacking off the front grip and moving the magazine back.
nice work. as stated before, all it really still needs is to do a nice milling job on the letters, also maybe paint that random bit of shining metal on the one part of your barrel, but other then that it looks perfect. again, nice job on that Edited by Snick - 07 May 2006 at 7:16am |

Nice work. You can tell how hard you've worked on it by the looks compared to the real thing. Keep it up.

I really like them. I personally think they look better with the solid stock but they arent as handy. I really like that yo9u moved the mags back. They would be perfect if you could mill the letters.

Get a Q-Loader to make it look better. An E-Grip/E-Bolt (Depends how new it is) would be awesome. I love E-Grips/E-Bolts on Mil-Sim Guns.

It was about 500 without the basic gun cost, thats not including the remote and the inline. It actually less than that though because I bought the BT barrel before this one. I didn't like it so i bought a new barrel and then decided to strip the BT of the front sight.
