I posted before that i was having trouble with the gun. everytime i would pull the trigger the gun would shoot non stop. i thought i had fixed it with a new hammer and sear but now it is doing it again. the sear and hammer are not worn. i can get the gun to work properly if i hold the trigger down but if i pull once it shoots extreamly fast. i tuned the r/t way down and that works only if i hold the trigger. i think it may have something to do with the r/t but i dont know what. hopefully you can put together what i said and maybe you could help.

sear spring may not be strong enough. A weak spring will cause the bolt to slip.

yes, tippmann includes a new, stiffer sear spring with the RT kit. make
sure you got it and put it in. (it is blue, compared to the stock
black/silver spring).
also, make sure there is nothing preventing the trigger from properly resetting. |

I am having the same problem. If you ever find a fix I would like to know. I
tried to use my hand to snap the hammer, but it dosen't catch. My r/t is too new for the sear spring to be worn. *Edit- I triple checked my sear and it is still square like new. *Edit- I fixed it I just had to remove the straw mod lol Edited by FarSeer - 08 May 2006 at 11:06pm |
