as most of you know i live on long island which is also the home of guitarist john petrucci...about a year ago he bought a BMW from the dealership where my friend works and my friend told me and we both got to meet him...my sister got pissed off cause she's a huge fan of his work anda couldn't get off work to come down...fortunatley yesterday petrucci was at the dealership getting his car fixed and we got another chance to meet him...this time we got him to personally write a card to my sister




she totally flipped...he's a really awesome guy...not even close to being a pretentious music snob


and if you don't know of him he's a very famous guitarist...arguably the best player alive today

Petrucci's solos are all basic scales.

But I am a Dream Theater fan, and their new CD was great.

nah..i thought that would be kind of lame to ask him...the note makes it look like im doing something nice for my sister even though i use it as proof hah

thats awsome i wanted to see them in the city for the but i couldnt get tickets i saw them at Gigantour and they were awsome , i live on long island too

my dad used to drink with blue october. they started at the bar about 5 minutes away from here.

has anyone actually heard of blue october? they are pretty good.
