im looking for a mask that i can use in woodsball that will keep me cooler than a cheepo mask. it doesn't have to be camo, i can do that myself. are there any reasonably priced masks that will keep me cool during woodsball?

You can get a camo JT Tactical Flex 8 at www.actionvillage.com for $64.

I really like my VForce Vantage. It's great for woodsball.

pretty much anything with a "thermal" anti-fog lense would be the best... i have a dye I3 mask and i've never been hot in it since i've had it. like always, it is about how much you're willing to spend to look flashy or just get the most effective for the least money.

all im looking for is a mask that wont make me sweat while im running or sitting in the woods. do you think ill need a fan to achieve this, or like you said, will i just need an anti thermal lense?

JT makes some good ones with fans. I have one W/thermal & a fan, as long as the battery is good there is no fog at all, period just look around. but I REALLY recomend a fan!

fans are noisy.  I honestly dont see the need for a fan when you have a good mask that fits comfortably on your head.  Look at the V-force Profiler or the JT FProFlex.  The proflex is the most comfortable, breathable mask I have ever worn.

ya the v-force pro vantage works excellent. i've been out in very hot weather and the only place you sweat in it is around the eyes where the foam is touching. although i think you would sweat there on almost any mask. good mask for the price.
