i dont own a pro carbine but the problem sounds generic.....ill assume you used a full tank of air, did you check out the orings and make sure everything inside was still good and tight? if you havent used it in a while, you may have forgotten about the insides of it. it happens sometimes

Yeah, check your o-rings and make sure you're not missing any screws and that they are tight.
NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil.

The air hose holds the valve in place, and the velocity bolt holds the powertube in place. Remove both to totally strip everything out.

I wouldnt reccomend removing the air line unless you have a replacement air reduction fitting o-ring on hand. It goes between the brass part that threads into the reciever and takes the air line. That o-ring usually gets chewed up when you remove the fitting.

Is the rear bolt area lubed up good? When you cock the gun can you feel any binding?

For me one of the biggest sources of misfires and not recocking on carbine guns is the linkage arm. If it gets bent even the slightest bit, it rubs along the groove it sits in and can prevent the thing from recocking.
