I used to have a 98 Custom, but my brother up and took it away.
Him and his friend have started playing fairly regular at the local field, and I want to try my hand at it again. Now I've always wanted an A-5, simply for the coolness factor. But I'm not going into this is any serious way. I was wondering if the price difference between the 98 and the A-5 was really worth it. I never really had any bad issues with my 98, even with the Flatline and really shoddy paint we had to use, I used to run around and cause mayhem in the woods. So I don't doubt the 98's abilities. I'd like to get something nice and mean looking and the A-5 is a little more real world than the 98, but all I'm really gonna do is drop a couble of bucks for a Nightstick and thats all. I'd like the ultimate sim ball gun, but I'm not going to bust a gut to get one any more. That was so like 10 years ago. SO basically is the performance difference between the 98 and the A5 worth the price difference? KBK |

The only real difference is that the A5 comes standard with a VA and cyclone. With the 98c, you wont need a VA unless you plan on using an expansion chamber. The cyclone would be a nice upgrade to look into if you do decide on a 98c. I think that for your purposes, a 98c would suit you well. |

Just stick with the 98 for what your doing. Maybe VL revelution hopper so you don't have any ball jams and you should be set.

And whats this ACT ? I had a couple of ball breaks in the thousands of rounds I shot out of my 98.
I do realise I could have had a "good one", but what does this "new" anti chop technology actually do? And is it worth it? KBK |
