just wondering...if i take the asa out of the powertube (98c or pro/carbine) can i just put some teflon tape on the male adapter when i screw it back in or do i need to use that tedlon paste stuff? never taken it off before, thinking of getting a vertical adaptor or something, maybe putting on a remote coil adaptor into it |

I prefer teflon tape. In answer to the original question, yes, it can be used on the powertube. Either one can cause problems if not used properly.

Go take a look at the 16th post at Marker Trouble? Read Maintenance Archive covers some info about Teflon and LocTite. |
