Generally I would agree, but the whole point of this was 25 BEST beers, mostly microbrews. Not Bud or any crap. |

I've had a few from the Great Lakes Brewery, especially since I'm from Cleveland. I've also had some stuff from Rogue Breweries, but not what they had on the list.
I drink mostly imports though. Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout, Newcastle Brown Ale, Strongbow, and Smithwick's lately. Might try Stella soon, but I'm into ale and stout mostly. Edited by Benjichang - 12 April 2007 at 11:32pm |

I disagree. Firstly, Creemore is nothing special. Also, there are plenty of American strong beers and most these days have the same alcoholic content aswell (we're not all drinking Michelob light). Also, American craft brewers are quite impressive, and they really do outshine most of the big Canadian brewers and almost all of the Canadian craftbrewers. It's really a shame how uncreative Canadian craft brewers are these days. Perhaps this summer will be different for them. I've tried many of the smaller Europrean brewers aswell, but they really don't live up to what they could be. But I'm young and thirsty, I'm sure there are some small Euro-brews to be had (assuming they dont keep all the good ones in Europe.. damn French). |

Honestly, I'm quite fond of several major North American beer companies. Of course, my pallet isn't nearly as refined as Carl's so my opinion doesn't amount to much.

I've had some pretty creative Canadian microbrews...I dunno about you...
Good choice. If you can get Keiths, try that too. Same with Brahma |

i think people bash on beer just to sound like they know what talking about and there a big beer drinker
seriously even big companys beer isnt that bad, I will drink a kokanee, bud, etc.... and its not like im out the window puking, its still good. I do prefer draker beers such as rickards red, and honey lagers (:-D), but really.... there giant companys for a reason, ALOT of people love them, and its all personal opionion. |

I drank a beer once, didn't like it. Rather smash back something with 40% in it or a little THC. Mix the two and you got me in a good mood!
