Ight... so i hand sowed a custom camo barrel cover (out of an old shirt lol) for my barrel and i was wondering if u think it would affect the performance due to the fact that it covers the porting...

It wont affect the performance. It may make it sound a bit louder since th porting is covered up, but an advantage to it is that should you be playin in the rain, water wont get into the porting as easily.
