I played paintball about 3-4 years ago, had a lot of fun, but was tired of
wasting my money. Now I'm flying full time during the week and need a hobby to relax with on the weekends. So I have about a 1000 dollar budget to get EVERYTHING- gun, tank, gear, etc. Requirements- gun MUST be electropneumatic (none of those crap spyder 'electro's), MUST have an anti-chop eye. I've been out of the loop for too long, somebody get me back into it! Whats your dream set up for >1K? |

Invert mini
Halo B, velocity, pulse crossfire 68/4500 (i suggest a new mini guage because crossfire has huge guages) barrel kit of some sort a good pack with vertical pods (depends how much paint you shoot get a 4+3 or 3+2)I have a Unique pack (4+3) and I usually shoot no more than 2 pods and a hopper in a game so the extra is just in case That leaves you around $900. The rest of the money spend on clothing and/or the little things like swabs and maintenance things for the gun or any upgrades for the gun. |

One of the guys at the field was using the mini. Very nice. I got to hold it, but it is kinda small, but something to be able to get used to.

Forget the Proto Rail.
I would go with something like a used DM5, timmy, or 05 Ego.. |

could look at the Trilogy SF line of Autococker, the pro is a decent marker and would leave a fair amont of change for other gear. Or maybe an A-5 with egrip or RTS and Hammer head barrel system just some thoughts |

Trilogies are not worth it unless, you need a cheap backup. Trilogies parts don't swap out with any other Autococker parts, so you won't be able to customize it much. Stay away from Trilogies.

Like Hybrid said, are you willing to buy used? You can get great deals if you do. For new, I'd do this-
* Are Pulse loaders still not available new? I really dont pay attention to stuff like that. |

Make sure you check the reviews before you buy the Invision. My friend has one and he said it's a great mask but changing the lens is a royal pain and he may replace it just because of that. I'm not sure if that's true or not since I don't own one and haven't changed the lenses on it but that's what he told me. Something worth mentioning before you drop the money on it. If this is true, Vforce makes some quality stuff so don't forget to check out their options as well.

Invisions ARE horrible for changing lenses. If you have to switch the lens really quickly, you better have a back-up mask because it is a little time consuming. I have the Switch FS? Which ever has the thermal lense from proto. I love it because it can take easily less than a minute to take the lense off, wipe it down and put it back on. The vents goggles are really nice and small. They also sit on the top of your head really nicely when your not playing.

You could also look into shockers but then you will most likely have to lookin into finding a good deal online but snake6 kinda takes it here...if you have that much money to spend you should look into those guns because they should well surpass just satisfing you. If you wanna buy brand new your kind of in a whole new situation. |
