I've took apart my Tippmann 98C to add a flatline, but when I took it in half, parts flew every where. :'(
I've got most of it back together but there is a spring that I have no idea where it goes. I'm assuming this spring is the reason it wont cock. So any help will be appreciated. |

You could have forgot to put the trigger spring in and then it wouldn't cock. Or you could have forgot to put one of the pins in. i dont have any pictures so just look at the trigger assembly in your manual and make sure yours matches it. Edited by jordanpischke - 03 September 2007 at 4:32pm |

No, its not the trigger spring,its a longer one, i will upload some pictures as soon as i find the cable to my camera.

You won't be able to fix it. I'll buy it from you though for $15 shipped. If it is a long one, you should have put the spring into the hole in the back hammer and it should be slipped onto the long pin that is in the back plate. |

Yes, I've done that, but there is another spring the exact same length as that one, and I can't find where it goes.

the rear bolt spring, but it should still cock if thas missing but prolly wont fire, when i first toop my a-5 apart i put the front bolt in backward and it wouldent cock, that might be a problem, cuz it will fit in backwards with the link rod ane everything but the thecocking handle wont go more than 1/2 inch

I'm pretty sure my gun isn't act, but that looks like its where the spring goes. Maybe my gun is act, will try to fit it there in a bit.

Thanks sooo much guys, i got it cocking now. xD
