    Posted: 04 September 2007 at 4:42am

I recently played at my local park. I filled my co2 tank when i got there, but they didnt fill it properly and after 300 balls it run empty. They refilled it for free, but i only managed to get off 20 shots before we finished. My question is; is it safe for me to store a full 20 oz tank until the next time I play, or should I empty it out?

Just dont store it in an extremely hot place, and it will be fine.

thats what the burst disc is for, it will burst if the bottle gets too full, but as long as you dont store in a hot place you should be ok, if the burst disc blows it will empty your c02 tank, but thats better than having it explose or damage your marker when you put it on

ok now this may sound stupid,but..... the engineering shop where I work has bottles of co2 mixed with argon for mig welding. Now would that work in a co2 tank for a marker?

seen it leak thru the barrel before. goes straight thru the gun. Slight hissing sound but can drain a tank in less than 15 minutes if severe enough

Just don't store the bottle on-gun.

Ditto. I store full tanks all the time. Just don't leave them in your car on a hot day.
