I was wondering which gun is the better gun because I read some reviews that said the A-5 was better and some that said the X-7 was better.

X-7 technically is better because the cyclone is better. But they are the same marker, the X-7 just has some added extras.

A-5, simply because they have more after market parts.

So the X-7 is lighter and has a better hopper. What about performance?

They have the same parts so I don't see why one would work better than the other. |

I really think that they are both the same for performance and the x7 is coming out with more upgrades all the time you can get pretty much the same upgrades for the x7 that you can for the a5

If you are planning on buying a marker I suggest an ICD Promaster over a Tippmann A-5, or X-7. The promaster is a much better gun, that depending on where you buy it, is cheaper than the A5 or X7 (huge price drop on promasters). |
