I hate physics, so very very much.  In fact I prefer organic chemistry to it. Anyways, my professor blows hard and the book blows almost as hard. I can't find anything from the book publisher or on Google that has really done me any good, but perhaps one of you might know a website/book that could help me understand this physics a little better?


This quarter we are doing motion and then E&M next and I'm not sure what after that but any help would be very much appreciated.

Im in phys 221 right now and I am so lost.  I have an exam on Tuesday and if I don't to well, Im going to have to drop it.

right now i hate biology.

i took biology sophomore year and it wasn't offered as fuel credit. the next year, as a jr., biology was offered as duel credit. i said screw that! i'm not gonn atake it again! cuz i took duel credit chemistry.

so, now i have to take biology this year a freshman. i figured hey, it should be easy. but i thought el wrongo! my advisor placed me a learning community!!! so i'm stuck in a biology majors class and it's sooo freakin hard!! i couldn't drop it because there wasn't any other seats available in any tother classes and i have to get the basic out of the way so i can begin my nursing classes next semester.

I actually really enjoyed biology last year. I found the cell functions to be really interesting and almost enjoyable. I considered changing my major to biology for a little while but then decided just to add it as a minor (forensic chemistry should do me more good when it comes to getting a job).



For anyone who cares I think I had a “physics moment” and some stuff clicked.

I *heart* physics! It's the key to how everything around you happens! Believe it or not, there are some rather advanced concepts in the "idiots guide" and "for dummies" versions of physics books. Go to B&N/Borders and check them out to see if they help. The beginning stuff is all going to be high school crap, but they get into some heavier stuff later down the road.

You hate Biology Majors classes, but you're planning on starting nursing classes next semester?  You do know that a TON of them are going to  be the same right?

Very true of intro psych.  But if you keep taking psych classes, they quickly become easy and not lame, which is an excellent combination.

sprox you can always go to the dean and ask if you can overload into a class...most of the time they will let 3-5 more people in the class than posted...

I am a mechanical engineering technology major and like I said before, phys is really hard for me right now.  The first semester of it last year with the mechanics and forces wasnt bad at all but this time we are studying magnetic fields and electricity which is ten times harder.
