Where are you hunting at? From what I gather 10 (and especially that one) is small everywhere except Texas and surrounding areas.

Congrats, though. I remember when I shot my first deer I was excited beyond all comprehension. The thing fell right over and I was out the door before it hit the ground.

Is he in Kentucky ? I know the deer and wildlife in general are bigger down south. But for my area thats one hell of a deer.

My dad got a crappie in Kentucky, a bunch of them actually they are massive ! We have caught tons of crappie but never any the size of those from Kentucky Lake.

Yea, I think for the North in general thats a big deer. The colors seem a little more bland than the deer in my area. I have my sights on a 8pt we have seen a few times now. No sign of that 10 pt 


But I did see a new buck rub today so I'm happy.

Come down to Georgia to see some real deer. I've seen deer that big crossing
the road in the suburbs of Atlanta.
