    Posted: 19 November 2007 at 7:29pm
Allright guys, I am stomped on this one. My dear X7 fires a couple of shots beautifully, then all of the sudden it stops feeding on the cyclone feeder. I take the paintballs out of the cyclone and it rotates just fine, as soon as I put balls back in the cyclone it fires one or two and stop feeding again. My HPA tank still have 2000 psi in it, my son's A5 fires just fine when I tested with the same tank. I took my cyclone feeder apart, cleaned it, oiled it, put it together according to the diagram and it does it all over again. Any suggestions?

You need a new ratchet.

Call Tippmann and order one, it should be free.

Will do so today. How come free? Free is good and I am not complaining, is their customer service that great? Thank you for the information.

i believe it all depends on where the ratchet breaks.... sometimes it will feed and sometimes it wont....  [like mine.... hehe]

as for why its free.... beside being a very well run customer service... it is a very well known flaw in the design.  So they stocked piled quite a few to keep their customers happy [they did send me 2 repacement ratchets....

* free is always good
