hey... so i plan on buying a palmers stabilizer in the future. however, i am still uncertain as to what would be the optimum regulating pressure for my 98c (without the low pressure system) running on co2. could anyone clarify for me? and would it it depend on the fps that im aiming to reach? o yea... im also running a RT and a soon to be cyclone feed system... |

Im fairly sure it's meant to run on around 850 psi.

Actually, you can reg down to anywhere between 750-800psi without having to make any interior modifications to the marker. The best way to "sweet spot" a reg on a .98 is to back the velocity screw out so it is flush with the interior of the power tube. Then use the reg's adjustment to bring the marker to the appropriate FPS.

Approximately 4 complete turns from all the way in. (At least that seems to be the point on my Tippmanns where the velocity screw seems to no longer affect velocity.) |

Yep, mack's got it. You can always test with a pen or dowel as well.
