I would go with a higher end hopper. Don't be afraid to spend alot on a hopper now, it will save you money in the long run. I would suggest a HaloB, EmpireB, or VLocity.

The HALO TSA loaders aren't that great. For the same price you can get a eVLution 3 off of Action Village.

An EGGY? I haven't got my hands on their 3rd disaster but 2 was the worst thing I have ever put my hands on. I hate to disagree so strongly but they're ridiculously heavy, the battery door ALWAYS breaks off, they hold too little for their huge size, they're ugly, and gravity prohibits it from getting more than around 13 bps, no matter what Viewloader says.
I showed that in my epically drawn Photoshop picture. Clickityclick I also suggest spending a lot on a good hopper, if you spend too little you'll end up eventually trashing it and getting a new one, resulting in more money spent. |

TheWarHam... you do realize that your logic applies to Halos as well right? Anything that uses eyes has that issue. Eggs can go over 13 for sure, though not as fast as Halos/ReLoaders.

Halos don't to the same extent, thanks to spring tension. |

My logic states that without tension on the ball stack, the balls will not feed faster than gravity on gun. Halos, Vlocity's, and the likes apply tension to the ballstack.

Oh ok now I see what you mean. That much I agree with. But Egg's can definitely go faster than 13.

Except that you have a giant target hanging off the right side of your gun. |

And the fact that you can't take it with you when you upgrade.... Cyclone + 98 = waste of money. |

The truthiness level is through the roof!
If you don't have any plans on getting rid of your 98/getting a new marker, the cyclone is a good way to go IMO. It's not a huge target hanging off your marker, the cyclone (sans hopper) is not much of a target. It is one, but its not a big issue. The hopper is no worse than any other hopper. I'd go with the cyclone. but i'm not planning on getting a different marker. and I hate batteries in paintball gear. |
