Here's my 98 Custom that I've been working on for a few years. Decided to go with a H&K G36 look.
I'm thinking about getting a tac light for the front (I like night games) and possibly a shorter barrel, for a better look. What do you think?  |

Mill off the words "Tippmann 98 Custom". It would give it a much better look. I don't like the barrel at all. I'd go a little shorter so it wasn't sticking out of the shroud so much. It's not really my style, but I could see where you would like it, and as long as you like it, kudos.

Yeah, the more I look at it the more I dislike the length of the barrel...
I may take the old Dremel to the Tippmann lettering, but not sure on that one yet. |

I agree that a shorter barrel would improve the appearance. It looks way to "bolt-on" for my taste. I've never considered the 98 family a good base for mil-simming. However, if you're happy with it, then that's what matters.

The shroud looks weird IMO opsgear's older g36 shroud looked better. A shorter barrel will help the overall look though. |

Yeah the milling would be good and paint it so its not 4 different shades of black and throw a quick strip mod on it and good to go!
