well the only extensions i know about are the ones for your hair! if u need some of them im sure i can find you a site but as for barrel extensions..never herd of them. ypu might be mistaken by a barrel set (i.e. freak) or a barrel adaptor |

If that was sarcasm, SSOK's (partially) right.
14" already is excessively long, and pushes the envelope of ball guidance, as it were. If I'm not mistaken, tests have shown that 8" is all that's needed to efficiently get a paintball to speed, and guide it with reasonable accuracy. Accuracy is marginally improved up until the 14" point, whereas anything past that is extraneous. If you want a longer barrel to match a mil-sim kit, good for you. Or maybe you want to poke out of bushes more effectively, or press your barrel tighter against an airball bunker. Also, good for you. In all honesty, 14" should be enough, but those are legit excuses to browse the market for longer barrels. 18" and up is just silly though, and in general, wastes gas, as it takes more air to get the ball to speed on a longer barrel. I'm not saying longer barrels can't be quality, it's just that 80% of the time, anything over 14" is just useless bulk on a marker. |
