I do not trust polls much so i will just make a post. I have been using an A5 for awhile and it's ok. I love how durable and reliabe it is but it just doesn't feel right for me. I want to buy another marker but in the process I will have to sell my beloved A5. I have looked around a bit and seemed to find i cannot make up my mind one bit.
So here is a list of markers I think I would like: used dm4 or newer, used proto, new invert mini (looks tiny though), autococker with a pump kit new or used, or a ccm series 5 or 6. I am very willing to any other markers or advice, thanks for looking.

Well, your looking at pumps and electros. Do you want speed, or play pump?

I'd love to get an electro but the pricing on paint and the little amount i make kind of conflict. I was kind of thinking of buying a used autococker with the pump kit on it and with the parts to put it back to a normal cocker.

Those Invert Mini's look kinda cool. Held one at the local shop. One of the guys that worked there thought they were the cat's anus. Edited by StormyKnight - 27 February 2008 at 10:31pm |

Well I have finally decided what catagory. Since i don't really need to throw down enough paint to justify getting a electro I'll be going to pump route. Out of pump cockers, ccm series pumps, phantoms, and others unincluded here what do you guys feel will be the most reliable and well fun.

I really like my Phantom, but I always recommend that people try pump with a cheap/borrowed marker before sinking a lot of money into something they may not end up using much.

I've tried some pumps but I just strongly dislike the fact of having to change out 12g cartriges every 30 or so shots. Thats the only beat I have against most phantoms and the price for some of them.

Not every pump is limited to 12 gram C02. You can hook any size bottle to many. |

I run a 13 cu. in. air tank on my Phantom and a 6 oz CO2 on my Hammer. (That reminds me; I still have to fix the Stabilizer on the Hammer.) |

Well now I'm going to change my mind back to electro's. My friend is going to get some paying speedball games going and a pump wouldn't be the best for that. I would like to know some good guns (most likely used) that are in the $0-500 tops. Thanks for helping

Well, $500 used is quite a bit of options. Honestly, I would go with a new
DP Fusion for $265. And that's an LE version which means lifetime warranty. Or, if you want a more expensive gun, look at cyborgs, atleast the 06-07 models. They are great guns. |

Well I think I have found god. I just found the most beautiful thing ever (please do not tell my girlfriend that
) and can't resist. ...Just as soon as I can get the A5 off my hands.

AIM bodies are nice, but the internal components leave something to be desired. I much prefer AKA/Shocktech pneus and internals to AIM's stock stuff.

Well, there are still a lot of internal parts that govern how well the sucker is going to shoot. Everything from the frame and it's components to the hammer and lug style, sear style, valve, springs, bolt, etc.
