I have a 98c have I've had for about 7 years. the gun has been very good to me, but it has shown some signs of wear. to the point where I think it might be time to move on but I need advice on what to do. right now my set up is 98c with cyclone, 14" teardrop barrel, expansion chamber, car stock, rocket cock, dropfoward, double finger trigger. a lot of people say that the 98 is an entry level marker, what is the next step up? All i play is woodsball. I was thinking that I should get a 98c platinum, and use my parts, but at the same time I would like to try another marker. I'm not sure what I should do. Any advice? specifically what other markers should I be looking at if i go away from the 98?

200 just for the marker? If so I would look into a ICD Promaster. If you are buying a new marker you might as well move out of the low end. |

Depends on what you want to do. Do you want to play for fun, or impress others with what you spent? So what if you have a low-end or entry-level marker. A lot of people do. If you feel that you've outgrown your trusty Tippmann, shop around the paintball shops or check out the online ones. I haven't heard anything bad about the Proto SLG markers here: http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/S tore/en/-/USD/BrowseCatalog-Start;sid=jxkjsbqYprkjD_12twzjGb BRMLZauI4YtSs=?CategoryName=paintball-paintball-guns-proto-p aintball-guns-proto-slg-paintball-guns But you can also get a free loader (while supplies last) with the purchase of a WGP MG-7 marker here: http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/S tore/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=jxkjsbqYpr kjD_12twzjGbBRMLZauI4YtSs=?ProductID=n6rAqArbaxoAAAEW%2eOzMw hGK |
