Would you ever date or continue a relationship if your partner had the same name, just spelled differently?  (e.g. Aaron / Erin)

The example I used in the beginning of the thread happen to be my brother-in-law and sister.  When they first met, my brother-in-law approached my sister, introduced himself by saying, "Hi, my name is Aaron."  My sister replied, "My name is Erin."  He then said, "Well, this isn't going to work..."

Five years and two kids later, it apparantly has.

Well... I did once know a girl back in high school with the name "Stevie". But if a girl is named "Steven", it would get kinda weird, let alone the opposite spelling would be "Stephen".

My cousin dated a guy names Terry and her name was Tera. It was so confusing when you are in a loud restaurant and don't hear the ending.

My aunt and uncle are named Rob and Robin (Rob 'n' Robin).  It made for a nice play on words for the minister at the wedding.

i'd have to date a Paula...i've heard someone named Paulina before but the odds of ever meeting anyone with those names again would probably be a fluke.

I once hooked some friends up.  He was named "Shane" and her name was "Shanna"

Everyone else said I was mean for doing it, but they ended up really liking each other.
