Hey I have a Tippmann 98 custom with A.C.T and I installed my double trigger the other day and I am having a very frustrating problem.
Whenever I try to shoot my gun the trigger doesn't seem to go back into the ready position, I have to manually push the trigger forward again to get it to fire again. I have disassembled my gun many times trying to get to the bottom of this problem. Maybe I have the wrong trigger? Can someone help? |

did you get the trigger made for that model? sounds like there could be a spring missing somewhere...

The mechanism looks almost identical to my other single trigger. That could be though.

One of two things is happening either its getting snagged or the return spring is too soft. Try both a harder and a softer spring to the left of were the safety goes through the gun. If you dant have diff springs just use a longer one than stock and a shorter one. Try both if that doesnt help try the same spring concept with the spring thats physically on the trigger. I suspect the fact that its ACT may have something to do with it.

to anyone who has this problem after me i have found the solution with the help of Caramanos2000. all you have to do is take the spring out of the single trigger and put it into your double trigger then it works fine!
