OK so my question is I just bought the shocktech long drop forward for my 98c.The problem is my gas line and tank adapter wont reach it.
So i believe i need a longer gas line, but is it as easy and unscrewing the current one and reinstalling a longer gas hose? Or Im i missing something? Thanks |

i think its pretty easy... you could probably get one at the hardware store... just make sure if it has a pressure rating that you get it above 5000psi if possible... you may want to wait for other people to post to see what they say though... i may be completely off my rocker

its really not that hard to change the airline. the only thing in sometimes they can be really hard to get out. when your putting the new one back in put some teflon tape or some locktite on the threads.

the standard hose is rated to 3000psi and most hydraulic store or hardware should be able to match the length you need.

Deffinately use teflon tape. It is easier to clean off if you ever need to get inside your valve or change the hose length again. It's also dirt cheap and easy as pie to use, so there is no reason not to give it a go.
